In the last post on this series, we explored key points on the ministerial assignment of Christ on earth. In today's post, I will discuss the benefits of happiness. Happiness is a matter of choice; you can choose to be happy, and you can choose not to be happy. True, some circumstances can make us unhappy, but it is our choice to stay unhappy or become happy. It is our choice to decide our general mood. When you stay unhappy, you do yourself more harm than good. Come with me to the book of Joel.
The vines have become dry, and the fig trees are dried up. The pomegranate trees, the date palm trees, the apple trees— all the trees in the field have died. And the happiness of the people has died, too.
The above scripture uses a metaphor to describe fig trees, pomegranate trees, and apple trees drying up and dying because people's happiness had died. This means our happiness is what will make things around us flourish. Sadness or sorrow will make things around us not work or flourish. For example, if you are doing a business or doing work that you are not happy about, that business won't flourish because you will not do every necessary thing a happy heart will do to make the business flourish.
Let's see another scripture in the Book of Isaiah:
Therefore with joy, you will draw waters from the well of Salvation
The above scripture tells us that joy or happiness has the ability to bring salvation (deliverance). The reason why many people are in bondage today is because they refuse to be happy, and that is why sadness and different forms of calamity never depart from them.

Agalliao is a Greek word that means “to rejoice exceedingly or to be exceedingly glad.” Choose to be happy and rejoice exceedingly. Don't be overwhelmed by what satan is doing against you right now. Rather, look at the great and marvelous things God is about to do in your life. The Lord is on your side, and He will bring you victory.
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.
Awesome! That's great!
Say This Prayer With Sincerity:
Lord Jesus I come to you today and know that I'm a sinner.
I repent of my sins and I confess my sins to you today (mention them).
Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and savior.
I promise to serve you all my days.
Beloved, Welcome to the Body of Christ!
Congrats! Now, you are part of God's family and you have the holy spirit living in you. What you need to do now is to search for a bible-believing church around you and begin to fellowship there. Also, you need to get a Bible, and read it as well as pray everyday. You are mightly loved!
