Flowers are beautiful to behold and can make a lovely-looking garden. For this reason of beauty, we love them and can appreciate the intricacies of their form and features. However, while they are truly beautiful, flowers have a short life span. You can see flowers flourishing buoyantly today but in a matter of days, begin to fall and wither one by one. The book of Psalm has a worthy read:
As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more.
This scripture tells the fact that our days on earth are like that of grass or flowers that flourish for a while but eventually cease to exist. This scripture is profound and it tells us that our days on earth are not forever. You and I are temporal residents of this world. It is unfortunate that many people in the world today act as though they will be in this world forever. They walk in diverse sins that draw them from God. Flowers are not forever, and neither are our lives. One day, like a flower, your days will be over. If you are not serving the Lord, please draw close to Him today. If you are still wallowing in sin and perversions, I beg with mercy, please stop! If you have not accepted Christ as Lord over your life, accept Him now and be saved! There will be a day of reckoning for us when we pass away. If you don’t accept Christ now, on that day, it may be too late. Are you willing to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour right now? If yes, pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I’m a sinner and I repent of all sins and I call on you today to save me. Jesus, I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour and I promise to serve you all my days.”
Did you pray the above prayer? Hallelujah! If you did, beloved, welcome to the Kingdom of Christ. I encourage you to search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Also, read your Bible and pray every day. The Lord will strengthen you. You can reach out to me in person through email at apostlepaul@pkgm.org
May the Lord give you the grace to continually hold these truths to heart as you prepare yourself for God’s everlasting Kingdom. Hallelujah!
