We Live in Perilious Times

The Bible makes us know that in the last and evil days, all kinds of unimaginable things and atrocities will begin to happen. We are in those times - these are the last and evil days. The book of 2nd Timothy corroborates this:

1st Tim. 3:1-5 (NKJV)

“

But know this, that in the last days, perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

The above scripture opens our knowledge to the different kinds of sinful habits that would be the norm in this end time. The world will become so corrupt that it would be a sin-driven society where people would enjoy sinning without restraint. The Bible warns us that we should turn away from those sinful practices and those who practise them.

Sin has become a cancer that is eating away at society’s morality every day. We need God to empower us against them. As a believer, you can survive and even thrive in these last and evil days if you are willing to faithfully follow God’s commandments and instructions.

How to Survive This Perilous Times

1. Be holy
2. Read your Bible and practice it daily
3. Continue Fellowshipping with other believers
4. Be always led by the Holy Spirit.
5. Don’t follow the multitude to do evil.
6. Put God first in all you do.
7. Stay away from ungodly people.
8. Always preach the gospel.
9. Be a person of truth.
10. Endure the persecution
11. Make up your mind to never go back into the world
12. Love the Lord
13. Love the people
14. Be a person of gratitude
15. Humble yourself
16. Forgive people who hurt you.
17. Practice self-control and discipline
18. Don’t live for worldly pleasure
19. Abstain from every appearance of lust.
20. Be prayerful
21. Be patient
22. Be content
23. Don’t be selfish.
24. Don’t love money
25. Obey God and all his commandments

I could surely list more, but this list covers a lot of important things to do if we are to survive the darkness in these last days. By the sure grace of God, you will survive it and thrive in it in Jesus' name.

Have you given your life to Jesus? If not, you will not survive these perilous times and you will be overcome by forces of darkness commissioned to make your life miserable. Take advantage of this opportunity and accept Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour. If you are ready to do this, pray this prayer:

“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
