In my last post, I explained four out of seven weapons of warfare that are in the book of Ephesians 6:14-18. In today's post, I will explain the three remaining weapons mentioned in the same scripture.
Weapon 5: Salvation
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the author of eternal Salvation.
And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him
This scripture tells us that Jesus became the author of eternal salvation because of His death on the cross. This means that anyone who wants to be saved eternally must come to His saving knowledge by accepting Him as his or her personal Lord and Savior.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved
This scripture explains that there is no other person that can save except Jesus, and there is no other name among humanity that can save anyone except the name above every other name, which is the name of JESUS.
The Weapon 6: The Word of God
The word of God is so powerful and can bring something out of nothing. The Book of Genesis says:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; and the darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "let there be Light; and there was light.
In this scripture, we see God creating the heavens and the earth and all He had to do to put an end to shapelessness, emptiness, and darkness was to say "Let there be LIGHT" and immediately light shone and things began to work.
God spoke His word and there was an immediate change and progress. When you are in a state of confusion and nothing is working around you, what you need to do is to speak forth the word of God to your situation and you will experience a great turnaround. The word of God is powerful enough to heal and deliver from every Satanic Oppression (Psalm 107:20)
Weapon 7: Prayer
Jesus said that people ought always to pray and not to faint. (Luke 18:1) Prayer generates a very powerful spiritual energy that Satan and his forces of darkness cannot withstand. James 5 corroborates this and says:
Confess to one another therfore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you be healed and restored [for a spiritual tone of mind and heart] The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]
Prayer makes power available. Utilize prayer in your personal life to make power available to overcome the operation of forces of darkness in your life. Stay blessed!
