Use Your Weapons!

We are in the last and evil days where Satan is utilizing his agents of darkness like demons, witches, and warlocks, to bring untold hardship upon humanity. As believers in Christ, we need to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might if we will overcome every Satanic battle that comes our way. Let's look at the book of 2nd Corinthians:

2 Cor. 10:3-5 (NKJV)

“

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

The above scripture shows that the battles that we will face are not physical or carnal. Rather, they are spiritual battles and, as such, need spiritual weapons. As believers in Christ Jesus, we have diverse and highly effective weapons in our arsenal that are powerful enough to do all of these:

1. Pull down strongholds
2. Cast down arguments
3. Cast down high things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God
4. Bring every thought to the obedience of Christ

As a believer in Christ, don’t worry when you are confronted with any spiritual battle. You already have weapons that can contend with those satanic efforts against you and give you victory. These dangerous weapons are listed in Ephesians 6 and are:

1. Truth
2. Righteousness
3. Preaching of the gospel
4. The Shield of faith
5. Salvation
6. The word of God
7. Prayer (both in understanding and In the spirit)

In the next post, I will delve into each of these weapons and how to use them to wage a victorious war against Satan and his host over your life. Every agent of darkness waging war against you will surely fall like a pack of cards in the mighty name of Jesus. To be continued…
