In these last and evil days, as satanic activities increase daily, believers in Christ Jesus need to continue using, the sword of the Spirit as an offensive weapon to wage war against the devil. See what Ephesians 6 says:
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
This scripture tells all children of God to arm themselves with the sword of the Spirit just like a Roman soldier would arm himself with a physical sword. The sword in this scripture is a metaphor that depicts the combating ability of the word of God. The word of God is very powerful and can destroy every satanic plan and purpose over your life. You need to use it in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night to assure your victory. The word of God also makes the devil tremble. It can do miracles and can cause signs and wonders when all hope is gone. The word of God is living and alive. No matter what your situation is right now, there is a scripture that can bring a solution to it. All you need to do is to always search the scripture as you study the Bible daily so you can have the word prepared in your mind when hard situations come.
I have applied the word of God to my situation on several occasions and I can tell you that it works. In fact, In the Bible, after fasting for forty days and forty nights, Jesus overcame all the temptations through the word of God (Matt. 4). This shows that the word is a sword that always gives you victory over every satanic battle you face. Are you going through any oppression? Are you experiencing any satanic manipulation? Use the word of God against it and I assure you that victory will be yours.
Have you given your life to Jesus? If not, do you need to take advantage of this opportunity and accept Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour. If you are ready to receive Jesus, pray this prayer with me:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Read your Bible and pray every day. You can reach me through apostlepaul@pkgm.org. It is well with your spirit, soul, and body in Jesus' name. Continue overcoming with the word of God.
