There are 4 spiritual combos (combinations or things) that every believer in Christ needs to practise regularly to increase their spiritual strength and always overcome every satanic battle. Combo means a combination of two or more things and today, the combo I’m talking about is:
- Prayer
- Fasting
- The Word of God
- Praise
It is well known that in the Bible days, many people who engaged in prayer, fasting, reading the world of God, and praising Him, experienced God’s intervention in their situation. I can attest to the fact that modern-day believers who practise this same combo are living a result-oriented and victorious life. This happens because the Bible commands every believer to pray, fast, read & exercise the word of God and give praises to Him. Let’s do a quick dive into each item in this power combo.
Prayer
Prayer is incredibly powerful. It can deliver positive heart desires into your hands. Jesus said in Luke 18:1 that “men ought to always pray and not to faint”.
Fasting
Fasting is a necessity for every believer because there are stubborn situations that will not change until you fast along with your prayer. See what Jesus said about prayer and fasting: “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” Matt. 17:21.
The Word
The Bible is the word of God and you need to read it daily so you know the plan and purpose of God for your life. There are many promises in the Bible that you can claim for your progress in this journey of faith. David said n the book of Psalm:
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against you.
Praise
If you are a living soul, you need to praise your creator every day and by doing so, He will be delighted in you and you will increase beyond measure. Ps. 148, Ps. 149.
There is power in this combo to turn your life and situation around. May the power of this combo begin to work for you like never before in Jesus’ name.
If you are reading this post and you haven’t accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, why not do this before it is too late? Ready to accept Him? Pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Read your Bible and pray every day. You can reach me through apostlepaul@pkgm.org. Stay blessed.
