There is no problem that prayer cannot solve. Through ages, men and women who put their faith in God and prayed have experienced unusual miracles in their lives, communities, or country. Prayer is a great tool that can change circumstances! It is communion and dialogue with God and it has great power to deliver outstanding results.
The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working
The above scripture enlightens us that there is great power at work in the prayer of a righteous person. In other words, when a righteous person prays to God for something, God listens and answers their prayer. The strongest force on Earth is the force of prayer. God wants His children to pray and when they pray to Him, he listens and answers them. In the Bible days, Moses, Elijah, Daniel, and Jabez prayed to God and God mightly intervened in their situations and turned them around for good. Even Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savour prayed to receive grace, strength, and answers from God. The book of Hebrews gives a clear account of this:
Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear.
There are three terms that are very important in this scripture: prayers, supplications, and strong cries and tears. You can see those words are pluralised which means that Jesus prayed on several occasions. Today, when many Christians pray once for a particular thing, they become tired if they don’t see answers to that prayer. Child of God, there’s a lesson to learn from the life of Jesus here. We need to pray without ceasing so we get our request from God. I don’t know what you are passing through right now, but I want you to go to God and pray over it. Pray, pray and pray because God will surely answer you.
Are you yet to give your life to Jesus Christ? If you haven’t, now is an opportunity to do so. Ready? Say this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Read your Bible and pray every day. You can reach me through apostlepaul@pkgm.org. May God answer your prayers as you put your faith in Him and pray to Him in Jesus’ name.
