One of the things the Lord told me about this year of massive harvest is that it is a year of righteousness (holiness) and many will seek Him as a result of economic challenges across the world. As people seek the Lord, He will have mercy upon them and release His grace upon them so they have a massive harvest. This year, God wants His people to walk in holiness and abstain from anything that will make them unclean.
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
In this scripture, God talks about the filthiness of the flesh and the spirit. God wants us to cleanse or purge ourselves from all fleshly and spiritual filthiness so that we can please Him. Cleansing of the filthiness of the flesh takes place when we begin to remove things from our lives that don’t align with the purity and holiness of God. It involves removing things we do that other people don’t see. These include things that go on in our heart and mind which “no one knows” but God knows. Things like hypocrisy, self- righteousness, pride, lust, unforgiveness, covetousness, envy among many others.
This year we need to abstain from all the works of the flesh and we must not be carnally minded. We need to be spiritually minded so we can experience massive harvest in every area of our lives. This year, when sinners entice you to join them in evil, don’t join them. Walking in holiness is something you must be deliberate about and you will need strong determination like Joseph and Daniel had in the Bible days. You can do it in Christ Jesus so hold steadfast soldier in Christ. I want you to walk in holiness this year. I also want you to pray and ask God for the grace to be live holy this year. I pray that God’s grace empowers you as a soldier in Christ to not fall or falter in this season holiness is a must in Jesus’ name.
