The book of Matthew makes us know that there are two different ways we can go in life. Look at what it says:
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
In the above scripture, Jesus is telling those who have ears to listen & obey that they should not pass through the broad way which is the way of destruction. Rather, they should pass through the narrow way which leads to life. The broad way is called the "broad" because many people pass it and is wide enough to accommodate different forms of evil lifestyle and choices. The narrow way is called "narrow" because only few choose to pass it even though it alone leads to life. In this scripture, two words are of great importance: Destruction and life.
Friend, I want you to know that it is only in Jesus that you will find life. In Satan, all you will find is destruction. Jesus said Satan is a thief who came to steal, kill, and destroy. However, He, Jesus, came so we can have life in abundant measure.
Are you on the broad way? Are you are living in sin every day, Jesus Christ is calling you to the way of eternal life. You can repent of your sins, and accept Jesus Christ into your life today. He came for you, died for you, and will readily accept you right now. Are you ready to accept Him? Are you ready to journey on the narrow way? If yes, say this prayer with sincerity:
“Lord Jesus, I come to you today & repent of all my sins. Jesus, I confess all my sins to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you right now as my personal lord and saviour. Jesus, I promise to serve you all my days”.
If you prayed the above prayer, kindly search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Read your bible and pray every day.
