Many husbands do not show love to their wives and their marriages crash as a result. Failure in marriage is not the will of God. God’s will is for marriages to stand forever, not for a short time. Let's look at the book of Ephesians:

Eph. 5:25 (NKJV)Husbands, love your wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.
This scripture tells husbands to love their wives the same way Jesus Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her (the church), even in the ultimate sacrifice of death. Love can be defined in many ways but here, I will define it as unselfish, loyal, and benevolent concern for the good of another. If you truly love someone, you will give your ALL to that person. You will not hurt the person and you will always seek for the good of such person. When you show love to your wife as a man, she will respond to your love with love in return and your marriage will be like heaven on earth. As a matter of fact, your children will groomed in an atmosphere of love and will be happy children. There are several ways you can show love to your wife. Here are some.
Ways to Show Love to Your Wife
- Always tell her how much you love her
- Buy gifts for her regularly
- Pray for her on a daily basis
- Communicate with her regularly
- Don't always complain about her
- Appreciate her for the things she does
- Always try to see things from her own point of view
- Never body shame her
- Don't love your children more than her
- Respect her both in private and in public
- Give her maximum support in all things
- Never raise your hands to beat your wife
- Correct her in love
- Tell her you are sorry when you offend her
- Don't envy your wife when she is more successful than you. Her Success is your success
- Settle your differences before it is too late
- Never use avoidance of sex as a tool of punishment for her
- Always tell her how delicious the food she prepares for you is
- Never give a bad report of your wife to members of your extended family or friends
- Listen to her advice
- Women love physical touching; make sure you always touch her
- Don't rebuke your wife whenever she corrects your children
- Help your wife with some house chores; don't leave everything a burden on her
- Always make yourself available for her
- Don't compare her with others
- Pamper her; never be harsh on her
- Build up your wife
- Spend a lot of money on her and tell her your financial status
- Always honor her, and never disgrace her when your children are before you
- Stay away from anything that gives you sexual gratification other than your wife
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.
