Show Her Love

Many husbands do not show love to their wives and their marriages crash as a result. Failure in marriage is not the will of God. God’s will is for marriages to stand forever, not for a short time. Let's look at the book of Ephesians:

Eph. 5:25 (NKJV)

Husbands, love your wives just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.

This scripture tells husbands to love their wives the same way Jesus Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her (the church), even in the ultimate sacrifice of death. Love can be defined in many ways but here, I will define it as unselfish, loyal, and benevolent concern for the good of another. If you truly love someone, you will give your ALL to that person. You will not hurt the person and you will always seek for the good of such person. When you show love to your wife as a man, she will respond to your love with love in return and your marriage will be like heaven on earth. As a matter of fact, your children will groomed in an atmosphere of love and will be happy children. There are several ways you can show love to your wife. Here are some.

Ways to Show Love to Your Wife

1. Always tell her how much you love her
2. Buy gifts for her regularly
3. Pray for her on a daily basis
4. Communicate with her regularly
5. Don't always complain about her
6. Appreciate her for the things she does
7. Always try to see things from her own point of view
8. Never body shame her
9. Don't love your children more than her
10. Respect her both in private and in public
11. Give her maximum support in all things
12. Never raise your hands to beat your wife
13. Correct her in love
14. Tell her you are sorry when you offend her
15. Don't envy your wife when she is more successful than you. Her Success is your success
16. Settle your differences before it is too late
17. Never use avoidance of sex as a tool of punishment for her
18. Always tell her how delicious the food she prepares for you is
19. Never give a bad report of your wife to members of your extended family or friends
20. Listen to her advice
21. Women love physical touching; make sure you always touch her
22. Don't rebuke your wife whenever she corrects your children
23. Help your wife with some house chores; don't leave everything a burden on her
24. Always make yourself available for her
25. Don't compare her with others
26. Pamper her; never be harsh on her
27. Build up your wife
28. Spend a lot of money on her and tell her your financial status
29. Always honor her, and never disgrace her when your children are before you
30. Stay away from anything that gives you sexual gratification other than your wife
