Every believer in Jesus Christ needs to pray every day. Prayer is a spiritual energy that can do things beyond human comprehension. Many Christians don’t see any reason to pray and don’t spend much time praying.
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
I deliberately added two translations of James 5:16 (from the New King James Version and the New Living Translation) to emphasize the effects of prayer on the lives of righteous believers in Jesus Christ. This scripture tells us that the earnest prayer of a believer has real impact. It means that prayer has a dimension of power that can produce great and uncommon results. Jesus said in Luke 18:1 that “men ought to pray and not to faint (be weak).” When going through a difficult situation, that’s not the time to complain or play destructive blame games. Rather, it is the time to give yourself to fervent prayers. In these last evil days, if you want to silence the forces of darkness in your situation, you need to fervently pray like never before.
While in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed to a point where the sweat coming out of him was as thick as blood. That earnest prayer gave Him victory over Satan and empowered Him with the grace to shed His blood for the redemption of the world during his challenging crucifixion. Jabez prayed to the point where the evil spell upon him was broken and replaced by God's blessings. Friend, you need to pray and you need to do so earnestly and fervently. May the Lord increase your desire to pray like never before in Jesus’ name!
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.
Awesome! That's great!
Say This Prayer With Sincerity:
Lord Jesus I come to you today and know that I'm a sinner.
I repent of my sins and I confess my sins to you today (mention them).
Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and savior.
I promise to serve you all my days.
Beloved, Welcome to the Body of Christ!
Congrats! Now, you are part of God's family and you have the holy spirit living in you. What you need to do now is to search for a bible-believing church around you and begin to fellowship there. Also, you need to get a Bible, and read it as well as pray everyday. You are mightly loved!
