Pray for the Peace of Israel

I was shocked when I heard the news that the Palestinian militant group named Hamas launched a coordinated large-scale attack on Israel on Saturday 7th October, 2023 with an estimated 2,200 rockets sent towards southern and central Israel, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. More than 1300 people have been killed and 2900 people injured. Also, scores of Israelis and others have been taken to Gaza as hostages. The Israel defense forces retaliated by launching an attack on Gaza strip and as at now, Palestinian authorities have reported at least 1,055 deaths and 5,184 injured people from Israel’s retaliatory attacks. If there’s anything this makes clear, it is that war is bad for everyone.

This is not a merely physical event. Satan orchestrated this war and his ultimate aim is to make many people to go to hell en masse. The questions that keeps coming to my mind is “how many people of those thousands dead have given their lives to Jesus?” The likely answer to this is “a few” and it means that many of them will go to hell. It is time for believers in Christ Jesus to preach the gospel of peace like never before in all nations of the earth to prevent people from spending their eternity in hell (Eph 6:15). Let me show you something in the book of Isaiah.

Isa.5:14 (KJV)

“

Therefore, hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it

The above scripture makes us know that hell has the ability to enlarge its entrance to receive more people and make them eternally separated from God. I pray that you and I would not go there in Jesus name.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you

This scripture enjoins everyone to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Israel) because those who love Jerusalem will prosper. Pray for Jerusalem because in her peace you will find your peace. Jesus is the prince of peace and is the solution to every war around the globe. May the power of God bring this war to an end in Jesus’ name. Keep Isreal in your prayers and stay blessed.

Are you yet to give your life to Jesus. I want you to repent because the kingdom of heaven is at hand. If you are ready to repent and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior, say this prayer:

Jesus, I know that you are the prince of peace, Jesus I repent of my sins today, Jesus I confess my sins to you (mention them) Jesus, from today let your peace reign in me, Jesus I promise to serve you throughout the remaining days of my life. Jesus, give me grace to live above sin.
