Life experiences are like a roller coaster. They can make our hopes and aspirations uncertain. However, the Bible, our living manual, tells us that we should give thanks to God in all things. Let's go to the book of Psalm:
Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.
This scripture tells us that anyone who praises God glorifies Him and anyone who orders his conduct or conversation right will see His salvation. Salvation here means deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss. God wants you and I to always offer Him praise. Whenever you give praise to God, what you are doing is offering the sacrifice of thanksgiving to God. You can be going through an unpleasant situation that makes your heart heavy. However, when you give God praise, He will intervene in your situation and give you complete deliverance from whatever is troubling you.
Paul and Silas offered praises to God when they were imprisoned because Paul cast out a demon of divination from a slave girl who brought her master much profit through fortune-telling. As they sang praises in the prison, a great earthquake shook the prison to its foundation and all prison doors were opened. The chains fell off the inmates. It was a great deliverance! (Acts 16:16-34). In a similar event, the walls of Jericho were so thick that it could accommodate a chariot with 6 horses horizontally arrayed across its lateral width (thickness) standing on it. However, despite its sheer impressiveness, it fell when the people of Israel gave God a shout of praise. There is power in praise. Praise will cause God to intervene quickly and turn your life around. The Bible says we should continually give praise to God.
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
When we praise God every day in the name of Jesus, we will continuously experience the wonder-working power of praise in our lives. Are you troubled? Is your heart overwhelmed? Is your heart heavy? Lift up your hands and give praise to God. Give Him the sacrifice of praise and thank Him for keeping you alive since you were born. Thank Him for how He has been good to you in the past. Thank Him even for the difficult situations you are going through now. Thank Him for how He will bring you out of this negative situation. Thank Him For His greatness. I see your tests turning to testimonies, your mess turning to a message and your trials turning to triumphs. Hallelujah!
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.
Awesome! That's great!
Say This Prayer With Sincerity:
Lord Jesus I come to you today and know that I'm a sinner.
I repent of my sins and I confess my sins to you today (mention them).
Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and savior.
I promise to serve you all my days.
Beloved, Welcome to the Body of Christ!
Congrats! Now, you are part of God's family and you have the holy spirit living in you. What you need to do now is to search for a bible-believing church around you and begin to fellowship there. Also, you need to get a Bible, and read it as well as pray everyday. You are mightly loved!
