Not By Power

In the world today, many people believe they can achieve their heart desires through ability and head knowledge but they are oblivious of the fact that it is the spirit of the living God that can give good success. It is the spirit of God that can bless an individual without any added sorrow. In the Bible days, men and women who were led by the spirit of God experienced daily divine assistance, while those who relied on their power and human wisdom ended up as losers. There is much to learn from that fact.

Let me show you something in the book of Zechariah:

Zech.4:6 (NKJV)

“

So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

The above scripture makes us know that our “power” and “might” are limited, but the Spirit of God will can do all thinngs. Power here means strength, physical force or the ability to do something in a particular way. When you allow the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) to take total control of your entire life, there are many benefits you begin to enjoy. Here are some of them.

1. Divine Direction
2. Divine Wisdom
3. Rapid Progress
4. Sweatless triumph
5. Divine establishment
6. Divine lifting
7. Sound health
8. All round fulfillment
9. Divine protection
10. Divine provision
11. Divine rest
12. Longevity

If you have relied solely on your power, might, ability or wisdom and you still do, you need to have a change of heart and choose to rely more on the spirit of God.The Bible says that by strength shall no man prevail - 1 Sam. 2:9

Lord Jesus, I repent of all my sins, Jesus I confess all my sins to you ( mention them) Jesus come into my heart and reign in me. Jesus, I promise to serve you all my days
