After Hannah dedicated her son Samuel to serve the Lord in the Tabernacle, she prayed a prayer of praise to God, speaking of His greatness and the mighty things He had done. In that praise, she said:
For by strength no man shall prevail
Hannah knew that only God could give children to barren women, as He had done for her. She recognized that God can do all things that human strength and ability cannot achieve. We must understand that to navigate and overcome life's challenges, we should not rely on our human strength, wisdom, or understanding, but rather on the divine power of Almighty God, who holds the solution to all our problems."
It is unfortunate that many people today place their trust in themselves, in natural things, and in the fleeting things of this world rather than in the living God. Your strength will fail you, but God will not. As a believer in Christ Jesus, you must realize that Jesus is our strength. As the Bible says, 'In Him we live and move and have our being' (Acts 17:28). Through Him, you can do all things because He gives us strength every day. Do you place your greatest confidence in your own wisdom and strength? As long as you continue to trust in your own power and understanding, you will ultimately fail. It is far better to trust in God than in yourself. Shift your gaze from yourself and look up to Him (Jesus). No matter the challenge, He will surely answer you in a way that will amaze you and your enemies. Hallelujah!
