Those serving God in spirit and in truth need to always give praises to Him. As believers in Christ Jesus, we must always remember that God is the source of our existence. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).

Ps. 9:1-2 (NKJV)“I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High
This scripture shows us that David made up his mind to praise God with his whole heart. What a perfect praise he chose to give! He would speak about God's marvelous works and would be glad and rejoicing in the Lord. Singing praises to God, who loves and cares for us is very worthwhile. One thing I picked up from David in this passage is praising God when it is convenient and when it is not. Every one of us must cultivate the habit of giving praises and worship to God daily. We should not just praise God for what we get from Him, what He has done or what He will do. We should praise Him simply, for who He is.
Wherever you are in your journey of faith, if you don’t have the habit of giving praise to God, I want you to become deliberate in giving quality praises to God from now on. As you do, you will see God doing great and mighty things in your life that you could not imagine. There are also many benefits to giving God praise which I will discuss in the next part of this series. To be continued…
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.

Congrats! Now, you are part of God's family and you have the holy spirit living in you. What you need to do now is to search for a bible-believing church around you and begin to fellowship there. Also, you need to get a Bible, and read it as well as pray everyday. You are mightly loved!
