His Word Is Powerful

The word of God is so powerful that it can make every impossible situation possible. God honors His word more than His name and no power from the pit of hell can undermine the efficacy of His word. The word of God is spirit and life.

This scripture tells us that the word of God is alive, powerful and sharper than a two-edged human-made sword. This sword has the ability to pierce through the soul, spirit, joints and bone marrow. It has the ability to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart. There is nothing in this world that can be compared with the word of God. It is not like the word of a human. The word of a person can fail, but the word of God never fails. Many people in the Bible days experienced the power in the word of God. The word of God brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt (bondage) and the same word also protected them and supplied all their needs while journeying through the wilderness and strange lands.

The word of God brought great deliverance for the people of Israel. It parted the Red for their passage and whenever they were confused, it resolved their confusion. Jesus spoke and at His word, Lazarus who had died for four days and was decomposing was brought back to life. The blind Bartimaeus receives his sight instantly through the word of Jesus. The mad man of Gadara who was demon-possessed by a legion of Spirits received total deliverance through the word of Jesus and became a mighty evangelist, preaching the word of God in as far as ten cities (Decapolis).

I don’t know how terrible your condition is right now but I know that the word of God can transform your life forever. I want you to lay hold on the word of God. Search the scriptures and claim God’s word for yourself. Through that, you will see great changes in your life. You are blessed beyond measure in Jesus’ name.
