The Bible tells us to always praise God because He is worthy to be praised. The book of Psalms says:
Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
This scripture shows what happens when we praise God: the earth yields more increase. Worshipping God and praising Him brings unusual increase and blessing. You can’t give God praise and remain the same. Praise is that powerful. Many believers prefer to complain when they go through trials and fail to realize that choosing to praise God instead can bring God’s intervention into their situation. I have seen many believers who chose to praise God in their hardship and God visited them in an unusual way that turned their lives around. In my journey of faith, I have gone through many trials but when I choose to praise God, He always comes through for me.
Stop worrying! Begin to give God praise! Through your trials and challenges, give Him praise. Raise your hands in honour of His name, worship and exalt Him. As you do this, I know without a shadow of doubt that He will turn your life around for good in Jesus' name. You are mightily blessed. Keep praising Him.
Are you yet to accept Jesus into your life? Are you still alone in this world without a concrete connection and relationship with God? You can get to know God and God wants you to know Him. He wants to hold your hands and teach you what to do, and how to live so you experience the best of life. He wants to intervene in your situation and turn it around for good. That’s why He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die for you so that you don’t have to be punished for the wrong things you have done in the past. All it takes to accept this Love and grace of God is to believe. Just Believe! Are you ready to accept Jesus, the son of God into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour? If yes, say this short prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
If you prayed this prayer, welcome into the Kingdom of God. Now that you are saved, here’s how to continue putting your trust in Him. Search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Also, read your Bible and pray every day.
