Fruitfulness

God intends that those who serve Him in spirit and truth should be fruitful in every area of their lives.

Gen 1:28 (NKJV)

“

Then God bless them and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’

In this scripture, after creating man, God pronounced blessings of fruitfulness and multiplication upon him. God also declared that man should fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion over every living thing on this side of the divide called earth. Now, what is fruitfulness? Fruitfulness is a state of being extremely productive or prolific.

When an individual is fruitful, that individual is surrounded by tangible results. It is the will of God that His children should make progress in life and in whatever they lay their hands on. And this applies to spiritual fruitfulness, too. After giving your life to Jesus, you are not supposed to stay in the same spot spiritually. You are to make spiritual progress. Your one-hour prayer needs to increase to two or three. Your love for God and people should have increased. You should constantly bring souls into God’s Kingdom through evangelism and missions. Your ability to continually run away from sin and anything that can defile you is a sign that you are spiritually fruitful. Deep study of God’s word (Bible) is a sure sign that you are fruitful. Practicing the Bible and fellowshipping with people in the house of the lord (The church) are other signs that you are bearing much fruit. Friend, Are you spiritually fruitful?

Believers in Christ Jesus, I want to encourage you never to cease to bear fruit. It is by design because of who we are in Jesus Christ. May the Lord increase His manifold grace upon you so that you may bear much fruit in the name of Jesus.
