Today, there are many pollutants around us which is why the Bible warns us to not touch anything unclean. Unclean things are conducts and practices that God has commanded us to not do. Fornication and adultery are examples of unclean things and the Bible mentions them in Galatians 5:19-21. If you are a married person, God expects you to be faithful to your spouse sexually. When you have an affair with someone else, God will never be pleased with you because as far are God is concerned, you are an unclean person. God doesn’t want us to defile our bodies with unclean things.
As a single man or woman, you do not have any business with sex. When you have sex with another person, you are fornicating and doing something unclean. See the book of Isaiah:
Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of the LORD.
In this scripture, God admonishes us believers in Christ to depart from every appearance of sin and unrighteousness. He says we should also be pure and holy because we are chosen vessels that need to serve God with clean and pure hearts.
If you are a child of God and you still touch unclean things, stop now so you can please God. Holiness is a call which every believer in Christ Jesus must obey. Although we are in this world, we are not of this world. We must abstain from every fleshly lust that is waging war against our soul.
If you haven’t given your life to Jesus, make the most of this opportunity and give your life to Him. Ready? Say this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days."
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Read your Bible and pray every day. You can reach me through apostlepaul@pkgm.org. May the Lord strengthen you to never touch unclean things. Stay clean and stay pure.
