Cattle On A Thousand Hills

The God we serve is a great provider. He supplies our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. As believers in Christ, we don’t need to worry when we’re in need. All we have to do is ask our loving Heavenly Father, who delights in our well-being.

Psalm 5 0:10 (NKJV)

For every beast of the forest is MINE, And the cattle on a thousand hills.

This scripture reminds us that God owns every beast of the forest and every cattle on a thousand hills. This metaphor means that God owns everything He created. It also shows that He is so rich and abundant that material things mean little to Him. He knows all our needs and can supply every one of them. He doesn’t want us to be intimidated by the size of our needs—He wants us to know that when we have Him, we have everything.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV)

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

This verse reveals God's power to increase His grace in our lives, providing abundantly for all our needs. His grace is truly sufficient. However, we must be careful: when He supplies our needs, our focus should not shift to the abundance itself, but remain fixed on Him. God’s blessings should not draw us away from Him, but closer to Him.

The owner of the cattle on a thousand hills will never stop supplying the needs of His people. So without delay, ask Him by faith for what you truly need—because He is a caring Father who hears and provides. Hallelujah!
