Are you Worried?

Those who serve God in spirit and truth do not need to worry in troubling situations because God has promised to always be with them in times of trouble. Whether it's finances, health concerns, relationships, or job security, many people struggle with anxiety, fear, and worry. However, most of them are not aware that worry will do them more harm than good.

What the Bible Says About Worry

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

Matthew 6:31-32 (NKJV)

Through this scripture, Jesus tells us not to worry about meeting our basic necessities (what we will eat, drink, wear among others). Our heavenly Father, Jehovah Rohi, knows all our needs and is ever ready to supply all of them.

Understanding Worry

Worry is a state of being anxious or troubled over an actual or potential problem and the word “worry” is derived from an Anglo-Saxon word meaning “to strangle” or “to choke off”. Don’t allow worry to strangle you and choke off your potential. You are more than your current situation and you can do all things through Jesus Christ.

Shift Your Perspective

Don’t see the problems alone. See your God and see a solution. Don’t see lack alone. See abundance. Don’t see closed doors. See open doors. It doesn’t matter if you are at your lowest ebb right now. Choose faith over fear and put your trust in God and He will surely show up on your behalf. It also doesn't matter whether you are barely getting along. The God who sees what you are going through right now will surely come through for you. I know without any shadow of doubt that your season of divine transformation has come. Have faith in God!
