In these troubling times, different unpleasant situations can make our hearts heavy and disoriented. However, we need to know that we are not alone and God is with us in every situation. Recently, I read the story of a beautiful married young lady who committed suicide because of a harrowing experience she was going through. I felt sad as I read her story and contemplated the life she could have had if she had not taken her life. She was not supposed to kill herself. Her untimely death was needless.

Rom. 8: 18 (NKJV)For I consider that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Suffering is not forever. The above scripture tells us that today’s suffering will be insignificant compared to the glory God will reveal in us. When you discover that you are going through a situation that makes you sad, don't allow that sadness to lead to depression. Pray and read your Bible or talk to a trusted friend about the situation and explain how you feel. If you feel like committing suicide, tell your friend or someone. I know your friend will advise you not to kill yourself.
The book of Exodus 20:13 says: "Thou shall not kill.” You are not allowed to kill anyone including yourself because God is the owner of your life. He is the only one who knows the number of your days on earth and the day you will kiss this world goodbye. Those who commit suicide will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven because killing yourself is an outright disobedience to the word of God. Are you going through a difficult situation that is making you sad? Do you regret that you came into this world? Have you been backstabbed by someone close to you? Have those you love become passionate hater? Are you going through depression?
If you are contemplating suicide, please do not kill yourself. God has a good plan for you and His thoughts towards you are good. God is still on your side. He will make a way for you where there is no way and your impossible situation will vanish. Pray to God to remove the spirit of sadness from you and give you the spirit of joy and peace. The Lord is about to do great and mighty things in your life that will make you a TESTIMONY. C`mon. Lift up your hands and worship God from whom all blessings flow.
Are You Born Again?
If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.

Congrats! Now, you are part of God's family and you have the holy spirit living in you. What you need to do now is to search for a bible-believing church around you and begin to fellowship there. Also, you need to get a Bible, and read it as well as pray everyday. You are mightly loved!
