I feel sad when I hear the news of people committing suicide around the world. These people commit suicide because they have lost hope and don’t know that God cares for them. The book of 1st Peter says:
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
This scripture makes us know that we need to cast all our cares upon the Lord. Our cares are our burdens, anxieties, worries, troubles, or anything that makes us unhappy. Life is like a roller coaster filled with ups and downs. Sometimes, we will have good experiences while at other times, we will have bad ones. However, we need to know that our God is a good God. Nahum 1:7 says “The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him”. God will surely show us His goodness as we go through our trials and tribulations.
Are you going through trying times? Stop worrying. It doesn’t matter whether you are barely getting along. God knows you and He knows your name. He will surely come through for you. Don’t jump into a lagoon or drink that poison. Don’t pull that trigger. Don’t give up hope. There is hope for you in Christ. Jesus is your hope of Glory (see Col. 1:27). God is about to turn your tests into testimony, your mess into a message, and your trials into triumph. Put your trust in Him and He will surely come through for you. If you have not yet given your life to Jesus, now is the time. Say this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and come to you today. I repent of my sins and confess them to you (mention them). Jesus, I accept you today as my personal Lord and Saviour. I promise to serve you all my days.”
If you prayed this prayer, welcome into the Kingdom of God. Now that you are saved, here’s how to continue putting your trust in Him. Search for a Bible-believing church of your choice and begin to fellowship there. Also, read your Bible and pray every day. You can reach me through apostlepaul@pkgm.org. May the Lord meet you at the point of your need in Jesus’ name. Stay blessed.
