As the year 2023 winded down, I began to seek the face of God to know what He had to say about 2024. As I stayed in His presence, the Holy Spirit whispered into my ears "Year 2024 is the year of Jubilee".
When people hear the word Jubilee a number comes to mind but Jubilee is more than that.In the Bible, God told Moses in the book of Leviticus 25 that the year of Jubilee should be celebrated every fifty years. Jubilee is a year of celebration that begins with the blowing of the trumpet throughout the land of Israel, the word is derived from the Hebrew word "Jobel", which means “ram horn” (Trumpet). God mentioned that in the year of Jubilee, He would bring various blessings which include restoration of Inheritances, release of the Hebrews servants (liberty), cessation of field labour (rest), fruits of the earth for everyone and redemption of property among others.
Jubilee is a year of Joyful sound. It is a year of release. It is a year of liberation, mercy, restoration, favour, goodness, jubilation, celebration. It is a holy year. It is a year of freedom and no-oppression. 2024 is a year like no other because God will empower His people to fulfill the true purpose of their existence and they will rejoice in Him.

Ps. 89:15 (NKJV)Blessed are the people who know the Joyful Sound! They walk, O Lord, In the light of your countenance.
This scripture makes us know that those who make joyful sounds unto the Lord would surely walk in the light of God's countenance (His face). When you are walking in the light of God countenance you can never fail, fall or falter and you will consistently experience an avalanche of God's blessings upon you. I welcome you to year 2024, your year of Jubilee. You are released to go and fulfill the original plan and purpose of God for your life in Jesus’ name. Your set time of favour has come. Happy New year!

If you have not given your life to Jesus, you can seize this opportunity and give your life to Him. All you need do is be sincere and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then, he will turn your life aorund for good and make you a new person.
